Overview of Parks & Facilities

The Village of Dundee currently operates six parks totaling about 13 acres of land that include three community parks and three neighborhood, or mini-parks, with landscape areas, picnic facilities, and some play equipment.

Available Programs

Recreation programs include:

  • Fitness programs (Zumba / boot camp)
  • Flag football
  • Movies in the park
  • Music in the park
  • Soccer
  • S.N.A.G. (Starting New at Golf)

Village of Dundee Parks & Community Facilities

The Village of Dundee currently operates six parks totaling about 13-acres of land that include three community parks with a variety of active facilities such as sport fields and three neighborhood, or mini-parks.

Six Parks

The community parks include Wolverine Park, Waterworks Park, and Reggie’s Park. The neighborhood, or mini- parks, include Memorial Park, Ford Park, and West Side Park. These parks contain landscape areas, picnic facilities, and some play equipment.

Additional Village Land & Facilities

The Village of Dundee also owns and maintains more than 20-acres of land which includes the Village Hall, Department of Public Works building, the waste-water and water treatment facilities, and vacant open spaces around the village.

Parks & Recreation Commission

The primary function of the Parks and Recreation Commission is to plan for both long range and immediate improvements as well as development of village parks and recreation programs.
