Old Mill Museum Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition Crossroads: Change in Rural America
The Old Mill Museum would like the public to take part in the Smithsonian Exhibition by participating in production and design of two of our exhibits. The first is for all ages to develop a one minute drone video “ The Best of Dundee”. The topic can be anything that you feel portrays Dundee at it’s best, a favorite scenic view, activity or event. The video must be produced on a flash drive or SD card. Deadline for the video is July 26th. The finished video will be edited and shown continually with credit to producer during the Smithsonian exhibition September 7th through October 13th. For additional details contact the Old Mill Museum at (734) 529-8596.
The second exhibit design will be for students of all ages. It is entitled “Lift Your Eyes to the Future”. We are asking students of all ages to design, Dundee of the Future. Get your thinking caps on and draw or paint Dundee as to how you think Dundee will look 20, 50 or 100 years from now. All designs must be submitted no later than July 26th. The designs will be on display during the Smithsonian exhibition with credit given to the designer. For additional details contract the Old Mill Museum at (734) 529-8596.
