Important Information from the Village of Dundee as of March 16, 2020

Important Announcement

The Village of Dundee will be closing all village facilities to the public and to non-essential employees starting at 8 AM on Monday, March 16, 2020 and will remain in effect until further notice. 

In addition to the Village Offices, the Old Mill Museum and the banquet hall will be closed.

 Event Cancellations:

  • Planning Commission Public Hearing - Monday, March 16, 2020 at 7 PM 

  • Village Council Meeting - Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 7 PM

  • Zoning Board Meeting - Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 7 PM

  • DDA Meeting - Monday, March 16, 2020 at 6 PM

  • “Know Before You Grow” Business Summit - Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 5:30 PM

As always, residents can access the Dundee Police Department by calling 911 for emergencies and 734-243-7070 for non-emergencies.

During the closure, residents are encouraged to use the online services and the drop box near the front door of the Village Office.

Water Bills:

During the closure, water bills can be placed in the box at the front door of the Village Office or paid on line.  The use charge associated with paying online will temporarily be waived for charges up to $500.00.

Building Department:

Permits can be accessed online and emailed to the Building Inspector at dahlgary@sbcglobal.net or faxed to 734-529-2879.  Permit Fees can be paid online.  The use charge associated with paying online will temporarily be waived for charges less than $500.00.

These steps are being taken as a precautionary measure. We are continuing to be in close contact with Mark Hammond, Director of the Monroe County Emergency Management Division and will modify our plans as this situation continues to develop.  

Residents are encouraged to call the Village Office at 734-529-3430 ext 7 with any questions they may have.
